Joyo is the expert on the mentally challenged.

Not only is he mentally handicapped but he also pays for sex with the mentally disabled. He considers himself a ‘care giver’.

Most of the time, it's a massive inconvenience. Some of the time it's outright shit.

But what doesn't kill you...

Re: Autism
There is a lot more it about than you think.

I only found out recently and it certainly explained a hell of a lot.
It has helped in my job. I never undertood why almost everyone I worked with cannot visualise code class structures and database schemas in their head and had to resort to complicated diagrams and endless documentation.

Re: Autism
They should test them properly.

Can they for instance, build a 'to scale' model of a sailing ship, using only the contents of a tin of alphabetti spaghetti?

Re: Autism
Trouble with the spectrum ish is that they have no idea of the way life is for us neurotypicals.

My 8 year daughter is heavily autistic. She gets a lot of funding both in school and out.

I show a LOT of the same traits but nobody ever bothered diagnosing this when I was younger

That's because it wasn't there.
You were just a weird kid and did what you could.

Re: Autism
I'm fine with it. It does explain a few of my quirks though. Hasn't held me back. I'm pretty successful and happy with my life.
Just hope my daughter can also do well as she's further down the line than me.
She'll be supported wither way.

This is just a relative spectrum thing. Most people are in the large part of the bell curve.

Re: Autism
Luck of the draw with what part of the spectrum you're on.

My cousin has it and had to be put in special care in the end as wasn't possible for her parents to look after her.

As a youngster I looked forward to her having a meltdown and throwing a sara lee gateau against the wall, though in hindsight fucking unfunny to her parents!!!

Work with an autistic fella who functions very well (cost draftsman), but definitely a bit odd.

Any news on the poor autistic kid and his mum who had to beg a group of Muslim's for forgiveness

Re: Autism
I probably have it but not been diagnosed. Addicted to word games/puzzles, and if someone is sitting in 'my place' at my local, I have a mild panic attack. If my second and third choice is also taken I go into meltdown.

Lots of other stuff, but I doubt you'd want to read it all.

I don’t like it when the baked beans in a full English aren’t in a separate container and come into contact with my fried eggs.

Autism is far more common than what many people think. What's more surprising is that Autism is far more common than what many people think.
